Our volunteers work
as troop/group leaders, co-leaders, Board members, helpers at special events, and many other
positions that couldn't be filled by paid staff alone. The volunteer commitment
can be as little or as much as an individual is able to contribute. Our Council volunteers have the opportunity to see the "fruits of their labor," or their rewards of their work, in the accomplishments of young girls as they grow into outstanding women.
What's Involved with Being a Volunteer? Being an adult volunteer is a very rewarding experience and important responsibility. Therefore, our Council requires that volunteers agree to attend orientation and educational courses appropriate to her/his position, which must be completed within six (6) months following the undertaking of the responsibilities.
