Welcome to Girl Scouts of Western North Carolina Pisgah Council's Outdoor Training Segment To become a Qualified Troop Camper (QTC) and take Girl Scouts camping, you will need to complete the following courses: 1. Two on-line courses:  Camping Safety, AT O351  and  Outdoor Adventure Bound, AT O352  (Click on either of the two course names to go to that on-line course.) (After completing these two (2) courses you may take your troop cabin camping without fires/outdoor cooking.) Complete the on-line courses before registering for the classes below. 2. Two skills sessions:  Fire Building and Outdoor Cooking, AT O353  and  Knots, Knives, and New Skills, AT O354 (After completing the above four (4) courses you will be a Qualified Troop Camper.) You'll find dates for AT O353 and O354 on the council website and in Horizons. 3. For those who have never spent the night in a tent – or those who just love s'mores and singing around a campfire – there is an optional overnight camping and advanced cooking experience, Under The Stars, AT O355.  We encourage you to join us for this fun overnight!
