The Girl Scout Service Center is located in north Asheville
at 64 W.T. Weaver Boulevard near the University of North Carolina-Asheville
campus. The Service
Center provides a
location for the Council Shop, where Girl Scouts may purchase uniforms, badges,
and special Girl Scout gift items. The Service Center also houses historical
information, communication materials, and staff services. For Every Girl, Everywhere Our Council is committed to providing Girl Scouting for every girl everywhere. Because the Girl Scout program is supported through individual and corporate donors, proceeds from cookie and nut sales, and 12 United Way agencies, programs are kept at an affordable cost. No girl is ever turned away because of financial need. Girls even have the opportunity to learn money management and earn "cookie dough," special Girl Scout money obtained through participation in cookie sales. This "cookie dough" may be used for registration, purchases in the Council Shop, Camp Pisgah, and Girl Scout programs. If you have questions or need assistance,
simply contact
our staff by sending an e-mail or write/phone us (see below). Click
