About The Council

October 1, 2009 Girl Scouts of Western North Carolina Pisgah Cservice_center_withsign_index.jpgouncil, merged with 3 other Councils to form the Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont Council (GSCP2P).  GSCP2P council covers 21,844 square miles in 40 counties in the western half of North Carolina plus the Qualla Boundary of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation and serves about 25,000 girls and 7,000 adults.

GSCP2P has four Service Centers:

Asheville Region:

Asheville Service Center

Catawba Region:

Gastonia Region:

Marguerite Ring Torrence Service Center

Greensboro/Winston-Salem Region:

Magnolia Manor-Transitional Heaquarters

8818 W. Market St., Colfax, NC  28235


Each Service Center houses a Girl Scout Shop, offices and meeting spaces for our staff. 

Service Center Hours

Mon.-Thurs, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm         Fridays - 8:30 am - 12:00 noon

Camp Ginger Cascades-Caldwell County

Gastonia Region:

Camp Golden Valley-Rutherford County

Camp Rotary-Gaston County

Greensboro/Winston-Salem Region:

Camp Dot Perry-Wilkes County

Camp Seven Springs-Davie County

Camp Douglas Long-Guilford County

These camps consist of over 1,500 acres.
